Lobbying

The Chamber is regularly engaged with local and national bodies including local council, the NI Assembly and various government departments. We can express our members’ opinions and concerns on various schemes, incentives and improvements related to the district. To that end, we are well placed to make representations on local businesses’ behalf.

Typically, we are approached by these bodies and their representatives. However, these lines of communication are left very open so that we can go directly to them when issues arise. This could be on any number of matters from street parking to dog fouling, grants schemes to regional development schemes.
