WBR Chamber launch first ever Christmas Charity Lunch

WBR Chamber of Commerce have announced details of their first-ever Christmas Charity Lunch, an event designed to bring the community together in the spirit of giving.

This Charity Event will take place on Friday 13th December in the Whistledown Hotel, Warrenpoint from 12pm until 3pm.

This holiday initiative for businesses aims to support local charities while fostering connections among businesses, residents, and civic leaders.

In the close-knit communities of Warrenpoint, Burren and Rostrevor, families are feeling the strain of mounting financial pressures.  Once known for their resilience and mutual support, households are now facing increasingly tough choices as the cost of living rises.

The WBR Chamber’s Christmas Charity Lunch is set to become a new tradition that celebrates both the season and the strength of community support.

President of the WBR Chamber of Commerce Colleen Tinnelly, says “WBR Chamber is delighted to organise the first ever WBR Christmas Charity Lunch event of its kind in the area. This will be a fantastic Christmas Lunch organised by the WBR business community in aid of local charities. We are especially grateful for the support of The Whistledown Hotel and the WBR Credit Union as our principal sponsors and we are appealing to the business community to support this worthy event”

This charitable event is a great opportunity for businesses to host their clients, customers and staff in a Christmas celebration and we do hope you can join us on the 13th December in the Whistledown Hotel Warrenpoint from 12 noon.
