St Vincent de Paul (SVP)
St Vincent de Paul continues its vital mission of assisting individuals and families across Northern Ireland who are experiencing hardship. With the help of dedicated volunteers, SVP offers practical aid such as emergency financial support, food parcels, and help with essential household bills. The organisation also provides a listening ear and emotional support to those feeling the strain of everyday life, particularly as financial pressures grow.
Women’s Aid
Women’s Aid provides essential help to women and children affected by domestic abuse. The charity offers refuge accommodation, counselling, and tailored support to those seeking safety and a fresh start. Beyond direct support, Women’s Aid plays a key role in raising awareness and educating communities about domestic abuse, working towards a future where everyone can live without fear or violence.
Home-Start
Home-Start is a community-based charity that supports families with young children through life’s tougher moments. Trained volunteers provide friendly, practical, and emotional support to parents dealing with challenges such as financial worries, loneliness, or poor mental health. By helping families build confidence and resilience, Home-Start promotes happier, healthier homes for children to grow and thrive.
Bolster Community
Bolster Community empowers individuals and families to overcome adversity, particularly those facing disability, mental health challenges, or financial hardship. The organisation runs a range of programmes designed to build skills, boost well-being, and foster social connection.
